Bautismos - Baptisms

On Sunday they are going to have not one but TWO baptisms.  The children of the less-active sister are going to be baptised that morning.  Elder Read will baptise the daughter and Elder Dean will baptise the son. And then Elder Dean will confirm the daughter and Elder Read will confirm the son. They are twins and the elders are really excited.     

Elder Read says that his companion is excellent and he likes him very much.  He also says that he's very funny.

Next week, then, Elder Read will send photos of the baptism.

He says that he's learning the will of the Lord and that one thing he has learnt on his mission is never ever ignore or think twice about a spiritual impression.  

On Monday he was reading the account in 3 Nephi of when Jesus blessed the children, and he says he wants to be worthy of a righteous woman in order to bring up children the Lord's way.  That's his most important goal!!

Elder Read dice:

Vamos a tener DOS bautismos el domingo. Los hijos de una menos activa se van a bautizar el domingo por la mañana. Lo voy a bautizar a la hija y mi compañero el hijo. Y luego voy a confirmar el hijo y mi compañero la hija. Son gemelos y estamos SUPER animados. 

Mi compañero es muy bueno. Le quiero mucho; es muy gracioso jaja :P Entonces la semana que viene les mandaré fotos del bautismo. 

En serio creo que estoy aprendiendo tanto por causa de la bondad del señor. Pero una cosa que aprendí en mi misión es que nunca, nunca se debe ignorar o pensar dos veces de una impresión espiritual.   Hoy (lunes) estaba leyendo el relato en 3 Nefi cuando Jesús bendijo a los niños. Quiero ser digno de una mujer virtuosa y digno de recibir hijo. ESA es mi meta mas grande!!
