Last week was another one described as "a little difficult" by Elder Read. They taught 15 discussions, although only 2 or 3 were to investigators and the baptism will not take place on the planned date as the investigator wasn't at church on Sunday. But this is missionary work and they rise to all the challenges.
And now for something rather amusing:
Their branch mission leader has a parakeet they call Pluma. And there it is on Elder Read's head in the photo. Elder Read says that he and the bird get on really well!! When he visits, he calls the bird who always flies to him and lands either on his shoulder or on his head. On Saturday during missionary correlation the bird did its business on Elder Read's shoulder and on Sunday during a prayer. But they're still mates!
As ever, all is well. He can't believe he's only got six months left!!
This week they've got a zone meeting which Elder Read is looking forward to - and next month he's going to see various ex-companions when they have special training by the mission president. We'll have to ask for some photos.
And that's it for another week.
Elder Read dice:

¡SOLO ME QUEDA 6 MESES!
