In the Church we're always saying what a small world it is. Now how about this?
Elder Read says that they didn't have a lot of success last week in respect of teaches and new finds. They only taught 9 discussions, of which only two were to investigators. The truth is that they are having much less success than they had in Cartagena and in Castilleja just a few weeks ago.
Do you remember that they taught 31 discussions in Cartagena and 21 in Castilleja. So it's difficult.

El último paquete desde la casa
BUT - they've seen a miracle!!!!!!
They've found a family from Peru. The husband is from Piura - and she...???? From Trujillo (Elder Read's mother's home town). And whereabouts in Trujillo? he asked. BUENOS AIRES, she said - which is the district where the family comes from. The photo below shows Elder Read outside the chapel in Buenos Aires shortly before he went on his mission.
She left some time ago but she even has friends in Sevilla 1st Ward who know the Chico family!!! (His mother's family) Now what a coincidence is that!!
On Wednesday, that's tomorrow, they have an appointment with them. They were found by the missionaries in Sevilla, and one of them is called Élder Caceres - from Lima! They were in a shop owned by a Peruvian investigator when the family came in, but they live in Castilleja so the missionaries passed the reference to Elders Read and Orr.
Elder Read describes them as a golden family. Seriously, they are very much in accord with the doctrine of our Church. the Elders are really excited.
Elder Read forgot the cable to attach to his camera so the above photos come from his companion's camera. In order to make the work I had to copy them and scan them.
They went to the cathedral on P-Day.
Elder Read dice:
