Better late than never !Mejor tarde que nunca!
Due to extreme busy-ness in the Read household, I'm afraid this epistle is somewhat later than usual.
There were three baptisms on Monday 10th June and Elder Read baptised one of them.
Sadly, last weekend Elder Sandelin was ill so they couldn't do anything and Elder Read felt useless. However, they did manage to get to church as the chapel is only 2 minutes from the flat. However, by Monday Elder Sandelin was completely better and they decided to use P-Day afternoon to work. Elder Read said he was very, very pleased to be able to teach again.
When Elder Read wrote he said that they had just eaten at Dominos: as much as you can eat for €6.20. He says he doesn't need a light anorak as it hardly rains in the summer and if it does, they've got umbrellas.
On Monday evening they were going to Family Home Evening with a family of which only one is active and there waa also going to be an investigator.

Elder Read dice:
vamos a ir a trabajar ésta tarde.
otra ves :D
Amalia dice "!Que fea foto!"
vamos a seguir intentado.

Baptisms - Bautismos
Neftalí was baptised on Saturday.
Neftalí se bautizó sábado !!!!!!!!!!!!!!WE HAVE HAD A BAPTISM!!!!!!!!!!!!! wrote Elder Read. Neftalí is in the Spanish marine infantry and he is being transferred to Cadiz on Friday, so it was just in time.
And there are more baptisms on the way. Elder Read said in his e-mail on Monday that he had to do three baptism interviews. The sisters in his district were going to have three baptisms on Monday evening and one of the investigators had asked him to baptise her. This was a great honour, he said.
He went on to say that this week will be very good as also will this transfer.

Six Months Out Tomorrow - Seis meses en el campo misional mañana
It's difficult to believe that Elder Read will have been on his mission for six months tomorrow.
In his e-mail yesterday he says that if there's one thing he misses, it's the temple, so he's very much looking forward to having a session when he returns. This is the last week of the transfer and he says he's learnt a lot in that time about the will of the Lord, and the importance of having confidence in Him and following Him forward even when we don't understand everything. But He does.
He has sent photos without captions this time, so we can only reach our own conclusions about what they are. In the photo above the missionaries in the zone have obviously had a car wash activity.

We have spent 19 years teaching our son but now he is teaching us. Yesterday he asked us how we are getting on with our family scripture study, prompting us to study Chapter 2 of Preach My Gospel - Effective Study - for Family Home Evening last night. He said he has seen the difference in families that do it and families that don't.
. He
Greetings to everyone!!
